IRRATIONAL TECHNOLOGY is a research project about the politics of technology.

For two years it has run in public — short essays on TikTok, long ones on Substack, video essays on YouTube. Iinterfaces are not neutral. Every design pattern exists because a business model needs it to exist, and the work here is naming which one.

The studio grew out of the project, not the other way round. The consultancy is this research, applied — which means you can read exactly how I think before you ever pay me to do it.
